測試方法：

在電源線或電線組件的載流線之間以及載流線與地線之間按下述任意一種方式測試:

a) 1250V 交流 (40 – 70Hz), 1 分鐘；

b) 1500V 交流 (40 – 70Hz), 1 秒鐘；

c) 1770V 直流, 1 分鐘；

d) 2100V 直流, 1 秒鐘。

判定：

任何兩根線間不能承受上述的測試均為不合格。

104.1 Each cord set and power-supply cord shall be capable of withstanding without electrical breakdown，as a routine production line test，the application of a test potential between line conductors and between each line conductor and grounding conductor，if provided，using one of the following methods.

a) A1250Va-c(40-70Hz) test potential applied for 1 minute，

b) A1500Va-c(40-70Hz) test potential applied for 1 second，

c) A1770Vd-c test potential applied for 1 minute，or 

d) A2100Vd-c test potential applied for 1 second.

104.1 每一組電線和電源線應能承受不發生電擊穿的情況，作為常規的生產線測試，使用下列方法之一，在導線之間和導線與接地導體之間施加測試電位。

104.2 The test potential maybe gradually increased to the required value but the full value is to be applied for 1 second or 1 minute as required.

104.3 The test equipment for a-c testing shall include a transformer having an essentially sinusoidal output.

104.5 If the output of the test equipment power-supply is500VAor larger，the test potential maybe indicated by a voltmeter in the primary circuit or in a tertiary winding circuit，by a selector switch marked to indicate the test potential，or by a marking in a readily visible location to indicate the test potential of equipment having a single test potential output.When marking is used without an indicating voltmeter，the equipment shall include a positive means such as a power-on lamp to indicate that the manual reset switch has been reset following a trip out.In the event of breakdown，manual reset of an external switch SW is required or an automatic reject of the unit under test is to result.

104.6 Test equipment other than that described in 104.3-104.5 maybe used if found to accomplish the intended factory control.
